Day 1:

Today is the day!

I got up around 6AM to catch an early plane to spend a very memorable 60 hours in London. While sitting in the back of my uber, I couldn’t help but roll down the window to stick out my head and take in the beautiful architecture of London. It felt good to be back!

While in the uber, I ordered Italian, to save time and my growing appetite. I wolf down the burrata and rocket salad as soon as I check into the hotel. Dare I say it, London has better late night restaurants than New York! I end my night, winding down in bed while working on company stuff. I can’t help but think about the next crazy 48 hours!

Day 2:

Jet lag has officially landed. With four hours of sleep, I wake up, make content, and visit our PR showroom, Black Pr. I am always so appreciative of my brand when I go. They found me as an infant and have been a huge part of our brand growth.

Afterwards, Goshkacame early in the afternoon to do my hair. As I got ready for a magazine party, I started feeling a little timid since I didn’t know anyone else attending the event. Usually when I feel this way, I tend to meet some amazing people. So, I quickly push my fears to the side and come across this corner bar at Bourne and Hollingsworth. I made my way downstairs and started to chat with someone that surprisingly knew Black Pr! As the night progressed I was able to connect with some awesome people that worked in the industry with conversations of potential collaborations that got my wheels turning!

Day 3:

With another four hours of sleep, I decided to wake up early to get ready for the Paul Costelloe show instead. It was such a privilege to be invited! As I left for the show, I didn’t realize how bad traffic was going to be. Luckily my Uber driver used short cuts to get me there on time. The show was awe inspiring. It paid tribute to the American icon, Sharon Tate. The clothes! The music! The energy! The set! I saw everything with a wide eyed glaze. Seeing such an iconic show for the first time was a gift I will remember forever.

After the show, I went back to the hotel to change into casual clothes. I met with our (SSNY) operations manager at the SoHo house in central London. It was really nice to catch up and brainstorm about the next season. We work so well together and I foresee great things happening for the brand.

After brunch, I go back to the hotel to get ready for two more shows, Olivia Black and Ginny Litscher. Seeing aspiring, independent brands like us showcase their work of art always gets me pumped for my next big project.
Olivia Black had a lot of structure and really nice stitching in her work. Ginny had beautiful tribal, flowy pieces made of silk. We were also featured in the show alongside Sadie Frost, Rose McGowan, and Jodie Kidd! It was truly an honor to be part of this wonderful event. After Ginny’s show there was an after party which was the absolute best way to end my last night in London for this very special seaso

Day 4

Running on two hours of sleep. I drag my body to pack to go back home. Sleeping has been very difficult this trip. So I’m kind of happy to be going back so soon and resting. I can’t wait to get in bed with my two puppies and hopefully pass out for a full day. So long, London.
